Late Sri Amaravadi Venkata Narsaiah

A prominent Citizen of Suryapet had donated 82 acres of land in

order to realize his life's ambition of spreading higher education in the rural, Backward areas of Telengana. Living upto the cherished desire of the donor of the land,the Osmania Graduates, Association, the Champions of cause of spread of education in, the Telangana' Region, came forward to start a degree college under the guidance of late Sri Shankerji in the year 1971 with B.A and B.Com courses with an intake of 90 students.

Ever since the beginning of the college it has been successful in catering to the educational needs of the students residing in and around Suryapet. The college originally located in Z.P.H.S. Suryapet, was shifted to its own campus spreadover an area of 37 acres with the generous financial support by the Osmania Graduates' Association and Exhibition Society, Hyderabad. So far the college has assets worth Rs.2 crores, with a magnificient building comprising of 34 classrooms, library, laboratories and Administrative block etc., As a measure of development in a pahsed manner B.A, Edn., B.A. Rural Banking, B.Sc (MPC) courses were started in the years 1977-78, 1978-79, 1980-85 respectively.
